LBB was established in 2018 due to the consistent disenfranchisement of the people of the African diaspora. We started by providing services in Bergen County, NJ first with plans to expand throughout NJ in the future. The Black communities are losing government funding for education and community development. It is important that Black communities build and supports their own businesses in order to build up the Black community.

Mission
Our mission is to bring awareness and support to Black-owned businesses in Bergen County, NJ. The Black dollar is the most untapped resource within the Black community for Black Businesses. LBBD aims to help connect more Black businesses with more Black customers by informing their target demographic of their existence. The growing success of both Black businesses and Black communities is dependent on their unified support of one another.
Effect Change
When the Black community consistently uses the Black dollar to support and control local businesses, education, and public services we will drastically improve the quality of life for Black people.
Vision
Ensuring that the Black community has the ability to not only grow economically but also effect change in the legal system. The Black community can change laws and circumstances through the power of the Black dollar. We can change the community for the better by supporting our local businesses, private/public education, and public services.
Pay To Play
In order to effect change in the Black community we must spend our money in a way that benefits the community. The Black community must focus on specifically supporting businesses, organizations, and politicians that support the Black Community's interests.
